The public jam has plenty of fun for everyone! This year it includes a "You're The Top" marathon—after Anything Goes opened on Broadway in 1934 it became all the rage to write parodies and new verses to one of the show's great numbers, "You're The Top!". Thousands of new lyrics exist, and this is your chance to try your hand at it as well—premier your new verse as a part of our marathon performance of this Cole Porter classic. (To contribute an original verse to the "You're the Top" marathon, contact OFAM at 687-6526. Slots are limited. Submissions will be juried.) Featured artists include Dick Hyman and guests (including Ian Whitcomb), The Shedd Institute's singing Elderhostelers, and our Young Artist Academy ensembles. As always, audience members are encouraged to sing along!
