Patrick Torelle has earned his living acting, directing, or teaching the same since 1974. He is currently head of the Theatre Arts program at LCC. Among his favorite roles played on local stages are: Oberon/Thesus, Midsummer Nights Dream, Willamette Rep; King Richard, Richard III, Lord Leebrick; The Old Man, Prelude to a Kiss, Cottage Theater; George, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, LCC; and as one of the two Romeos in Willamette Rep’s Comedy of Errors. Patrick was recognized by Portland’s Willamette Week as one of the Outstanding Contributors to the State of Oregon in 1977. He has performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. with the American College Theater Festival, and has gone to the ACTF Regionals three times.
