The Kim Sticka PTSD Music & Arts Foundation is holding its Fifth Annual PTSD Symposium at The Shedd Institute Saturday, October 15 from 8:30 a.m. until noon. The theme this year is "Neuroplasticity and the Power of Music for Better Mental Health".
Our keynote speaker is Dr. Indre Viskontas, a nationally known neuroscientist from San Francisco who is also an operatic soprano. The program will include the performance of music which is particularly helpful to troubled minds. What a difference music can make, especially for our youth.
