The Shedd Institute’s E. Y. Harburg Academy for Musical Theatre presents its 16th semi-annual revue, LITTLE GIRL BLUE, a tribute to the lyricist Lorenz Hart (1895-1943). As composer Richard Rodgers' first songwriting partner, Hart wrote a host of among the best lyrics of the 20th century, including "My Funny Valentine", “The Lady Is A Tramp”, “Manhattan”, “Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered”, "This Can't Be Love", "Blue Moon", "Thou Swell", "Little Girl Blue", "Mountain Greenery". Our revue covers many of his and Rodgers' greatest.
Two shows (at 3:00 and 5:30 pm), cabaret seating, concessions open throughout each performance in the Tykeson Lobby.
