Guitarist and singer. In the 1940s Joel Cowan played with Al Russell as a member of the Al "Stomp" Russell Trio and Do Ray and Me. In May 1950 he left Do Ray and Me to join the Camille Howard Trio, making it a foursome. In 1953 he was playing his electric Gibson at the Tropics nightclub in Denver.
