Biography
Artwork
Singer, pianist and song writer born in Columbia, South Carolina. In 1942 Al Russell formed the Al "Stomp" Russell Trio based in Los Angeles. He moved to Philadelphia in 1946 and changed the name of his group to the Do Ray Me Trio.
