VANESSA GREENWAY has been seen on the Shedd stage in Hello Dolly, Sweet Charity, Pajama Game, Holiday Inn, She Loves Me, and sung with the Jazz Kings, and Shedd Presents series, as well as the Oregon Festival of American Music. She also performs at Oregon Contemporary Theatre, most recently in The Thin Place, and as Nora in A Doll’s House, Part 2. Vanessa enjoyed a long career in Chicago, where highlights include being honored with Joseph Jefferson Best Actress awards for her work at the Griffin Theatre in Flare Path (Joseph Jefferson Award nomination-Best Actress), Constance in The Constant Wife (Jeff Award winner-Best Actress), and Vitalist Theatre’s The Night Season (Jeff Award winner-Best Supporting Actress) and Life is a Dream (Jeff nom-Best Supporting Actress). She performed with American Theatre Company, Chicago Shakespeare, Timeline Theatre, Chicago Children’s Theatre, the Hypocrites, City Lit, Eclipse Theatre and Porchlight Theatre, among others. She holds a BFA in Acting from The Theatre School, DePaul University and was a movement educator on their MFA program’s adjunct faculty.
