Christopher Burkhardt has been involved in Technical Theater for over 30 years. Ranging from Shakespeare in the park to musical theater, film and live concerts he has held many different roles. His many credits include production manager, stage manager, technical director, master carpenter, set designer, lighting designer, and sound engineer. Born and raised in San Diego, California he spent his first fifteen years in professional theater in Southern California working for such great theaters as The Old Globe Theater and The Pasadena Playhouse. In 1995 he moved to Oregon to work as a stage manager for the world famous Oregon Shakespeare Festival. During his seven years there he also worked as technical director for The Peter Britt Music Festival and Production Manager for The Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater. Christopher has also done extensive set and lighting designs all over the West Coast. In his spare time, Christopher loves romantic getaways with his beautiful wife Robena, camping with his son Ian, and building redwood decks.
