Matt has been performing since he was five. A native of Eugene, with a background in vocal jazz, some of his more recent credits include dramatic plays such as David & Lisa, Butterflies Are Free, Mr. Roberts, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Blind Men, & A Christmas To Remember. Matt has been active with The Shedd Institute in their production of Rogers & Hart's The Boys From Syracuse, Sweet Charity, Lady Be Good, and as the production tenor in Singing In The Rain. Matt has appeared in Eugene Opera's productions of Faust", La Boheme", The Mikado, Carmen, Nixon In China, & most recently as a solo tenor inmate in Dead Man Walking. Matt has been active with the Artist Mentor Program in productions of Trouble In Tahiti, the title role in George Bizet's Dr. Miracle and as Camille de Rosillon in Franz Lehar's The Merry Widow Matt has also appeared in a short film entitled In The Clear.
