Background, professional training and performance history
Lucy has been singing as long as she can remember, and began her formal study of voice at the age of eight. Not long after, she began taking piano lessons and teaching herself to play ukulele, ending any hope of peace and quiet in her parents’ house. She performed with choirs, dance groups, and in theatre productions in the Eugene area before attending Pomona College, graduating Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and minors in Music and History.
Still an avid performer, Lucy has had the opportunity to perform in many unique venues, including the Oregon Coast Jazz Party, Carnegie Hall, the International Thespian Festival, and the house of Israeli President Isaac Herzog. Lucy is also a composer, primarily of music for theatre. In 2021, her original musical Corona Cutie: A Digital Quest for Love enjoyed virtual presentations at Pomona College and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
