It’s time to explore the world of creepy, crawly bugs! Students will participate in music about Insects, Things that Wiggle and Wriggle, Bugs With Wings, and Spider Songs. Songs include “The Ants Go Marching” and “We’ll Go Eat Worms”. Students will also get to make and take home their very own “Bee Hummer” spinning noisemakers. Students can share the art they’ve made and the songs they’ve learned during a Friday performance!
Creepy Crawlies is the 2nd of 4 summer camps offer by The Shedd Institute as a part of its 2015
Summer SongFest program for kids.

Each morning begins with a “warm up”, followed by learning the songs for the week’s theme. They will then get to learn about and play an instrument that has to do with the week’s theme. After a snack the campers will either get a chance to make their very own instrument or get dance instruction based on the theme. The campers end the day with a song circle to prepare them for their performance on Friday:
